“…or myth or…”
by Liam Campbell

Runestone, volume 12

When there’s one way left to stay alive,

by food and drink and shelter or

by careful hibernation which

you barely survive,

or by war against another or

by trading in your innocence

but paying off the crime, or

by telling truth in public then

believing in the lie, or

by breathing in and breathing out

or bleeding once you’re left alone

or art or myth or apathy

an animal will do it all the time.
